Ali Arshad (born 1996) is an academic, educator, and trans-disciplinary visual artist currently based in Lahore, Pakistan. He completed his BFA from the Beaconhouse National University, Lahore in 2021. 

Ali’s work makes use of text, research data, earthworks and new media in his practice to render a distinct point of view concerning the role of gender, spirituality, and other socio-cultural disparities in contemporary art. His work has been featured by various local and international organizations such as A1 Bazaar, Lahore in 2018; Bad Video Art Festival, Moscow in 2019; Humble Arts Foundation, New York in 2019; T6, Toronto in 2021; Rise Collective Hanoi, Hanoi in 2021; Alter Work Studios, New York in 2021; The Wrong Biennale, Online in 2022; Lahore Museum, Lahore in 2023; and Lahore Digital Arts Festival, Online in 2023. Ali was also the winner of We The Peoples, We The Arts' final edition organised at the Swiss Embassy, Islamabad in 2019; and was also awarded a Global UGRAD Fellowship grant to study visual art at Grand Valley State University, Allendale in 2020.  Currently, he is also leading an artist-led initiative by the name of The Roadside as an attempt to curate spaces and circumnavigate public access to art.

Ali’s artwork is housed within the permanent collection of the Ambiance Boutique Art Hotels.
