Alvia Jawad (born 2001) is a miniature artist currently based in Lahore, Pakistan. She completed her BFA from the Kinnaird College for Women, Lahore in 2023.
Alvia’s body of work focuses on exploring and illustrating memories of her adventures and core experiences. She aims to fill gaps within her memories by utilising her imagination and past perceptions. Alvia’s artwork has been exhibited extensively locally at various art organisations such as in Broadcast Vol II at O Art Space, Lahore; Recent at Tagheer Art Gallery, Lahore x Art Den, Dubai; and the 19th Emerging Talent Exhibition at VM art Gallery, Karachi. She was also shortlisted for the Anna Molka Awards 2023 and 2022 organised by the Anna Molka Gallery, Punjab University College of Art and Design, Lahore.
Her artwork is housed in the permanent collection of the Ambiance Boutique Art Hotels. Read less
