
Ayesha Naeem (born 1996) is a visual artist, kathak dancer, writer and independent art curator based in Lahore, Pakistan. She completed her BFA from the National College of Arts, Lahore in 2021 and received an Honors for her efforts.
Ayesha’s choice of medium deviates between painting, photography, dance, text and writing. She has exhibited her pieces at various local venues including but not limited to Como Museum, Lahore; Koel Gallery, Karachi; O Art Space, Lahore; Haam Art Gallery, Lahore; Lakir Art Gallery, Lahore; VM Art Gallery, Karachi; June Collective, Lahore; and digitally in the Lahore Digital Festival. She received the Top Ten Artworks and Zaira Zaka Studio Art prize in the 18th Young Artist’s Competition at Alhamra Art Gallery, Lahore. Ayesha’s written works have appeared in various local publications. She has been receiving non-formal education in Kathak, from Pali Chandra since 2021 and Fasih-ur-Rehman in 2023, focusing on the Lahore-Lucknow gharana. Previously she worked as a Gallery Curator at Muse Art Gallery, Lahore. She recently took part in an Artist Residency Program organised by June Collective, Lahore. Currently, she is working with Lahore Digital Arts Festival, Lahore as an installation assistant for 4 days Festival.
Ayesha’s artwork is housed in the permanent collection of the Ambiance Boutique Art Hotels.
