Azhar Sheraz (born 1997) is a visual artist based in Kotri, Pakistan. He completed his BFA from the Shaheed Allah Buksh Soomro University of Art, Design, and Heritages, Jamshoro in 2023 and received a distinction for his efforts.
Azhar draws his inspiration from the industrial landscape of his neighbourhood, specifically, the people living and working in such environments. His unique imagery and technique are an amalgamation of various mediums and methods making use of traditional paints, rust, etc. He has showcased his artworks extensively locally at various art organisations such as Metal Elemental Resonance at Koel Gallery, Karachi; Look Closer, Design is Everywhere a two-person show at Sanat Initiative, Karachi; Artspeak at Mainframe Gallery, Karachi; Shared Ecosystem at O Art Space, Lahore; Nabz at Sanat Initiative, Karachi; and Frozen Melody FM 80.1at Gallery Full Circle, Karachi. Azhar was the artist in residence at Art Saraye 2023 the second residency at Art Otaq, Lahore.
