Fatima Shah (born 2000) is a visual artist and printmaker currently based in Karachi, Pakistan. She completed her BFA from the National College of Arts, Lahore in 2024.
In her art practice Fatima primarily focuses on creating artwork through drawings, encompassing both digital and traditional mediums, as well as print-based works. Fatima’s work has been exhibited extensively locally at various art institutions such as Fractured & Fluid at Kaleido Kontemporary, Lahore; Yahan Se Aagay at Artnext Gallery, Lahore; and Recent II at Tagh’eer, Lahore. She was also a part of Rework Reuse Reconsider, a collaborative Printmaking project between Morley College, London and the National College of Arts, Lahore in 2023 which was exhibited in the prestigious Zahoor-Ul-Akhlaq Gallery, Lahore. She was the co-curator of a pop-up art event, Ladies First at Kayal, Karachi in March 2024 that engaged the local community. Fatima is also part of the creative team at the Citizens Archive of Pakistan.
Her artworks are housed in the permanent collection of the Ambiance Boutique Art Hotels. Read less
