Fawad Jafri (born 1994) is a visual artist currently based in Lahore, Pakistan. He completed his BFA from the National College of Arts, Lahore in 2019 specialising in Painting.

Fawad experiments with flat colours and lines attempting to delve into the psychology of the ‘unknown/starting point of infinity or the ending point’. Through his practice, he grapples with the realisation that if given the chance neither Artificial Intelligence nor supercomputers may be able to comprehend the enormity of these concepts, yet the human mind will always express it, be it in vibrant hues and bold compositions, poetry or through just nothing.

Fawad believes that just thinking about the unknown of infinity or singularity is the truest form of being human. Reading into his bold compositions it's clear they are an essential depiction of his life experience as he comes from a family of graphic designers and he takes these elements of design and composes them in a way that a personal relationship develops through the process of developing these images onto a canvas.
