Firdous Mangi (born 1998) is a visual artist currently based in Karachi, Pakistan. She completed her BFA in Visual Arts and Design from Beaconhouse National University, Lahore in 2019 where she received an Honours for her efforts and was also awarded the UNESCO Madanjeet Singh Institute for South Asian Arts (UMISAA) scholarship.

Firdous is thoroughly fascinated by nature, particularly its incredible capacity for regeneration and growth. This theme is prevalent throughout her practice as she showcases the resilience of nature by collecting herbs, fruits, and flowers passing them through the processes of drying and grinding, thereby changing their initial reality and giving them another life. The format of Firdous’s art, can range from sculptures to paintings and even encompasses mix-media compositions. She has exhibited her artworks at Islamabad Art Festival, 2019. Firdous was also recently one of the ‘Artist’s in Residence’ at Taza Tareen 12, 2020 organised by the Vasl Artists’ Association, Karachi.
