Haleema Salman is a visual artist based in Quetta, Pakistan. She completed her BFA from the Fine Arts Department of the University of Balochistan, Quetta in 2024 specialising in Miniature Painting. She also joined Mosawir Art Academy, Quetta in 2019 in order to pursue greater artistic development, where she studied Contemporary Art, Art Movements, and Miniature Painting.
According to Haleema, art has always been a profound part of her life and her practice has been constantly evolving since childhood when she studied oil painting and basic sketching under local painters in Quetta. She sees art as a never-ending journey, and she is constantly learning and growing her skills, and her passion for art remains unyielding. Haleema’s work has been exhibited extensively locally at various art institutions including the Muntazarin Library, Hazara Town, Quetta, in 2020 and 2021. In 2022 she participated in a competition organized by the International Committee of the Red Cross, focusing on the theme of climate change and was awarded the 1st Position along with a prize of 150,000 PKR.
Her artwork is housed in the permanent collection of the Ambiance Boutique Art Hotels. Read less
