Hina Fatima (born 1997) is a visual artist currently based in Lahore, Pakistan. She completed her B Des Honours in Textile Design from the Kinnaird College for Women, Lahore in 2019 and received a distinction for her efforts alongside being awarded with a gold medal. Hina then went on to pursue and complete an MFA in Visual Arts from the National College of Arts, Lahore in 2022.
Her work encompasses photo-manipulated 2-dimensional animations, as showcased in her master's thesis, and textile art that metaphorically interprets dreams using thread and fabric, bridging the dreamscape and reality. Hina’s artwork has been exhibited extensively locally at various art organisations such as 17th Emerging Talent Exhibition at VM art Gallery, Karachi in 2022; Updated at ArtKamm Gallery, Karachi in 2022; Transference and Counter Transference at Pakistan National Council of Arts, Islamabad in 2023; and Splintered Reflections at Alhamra Art’s Council, Lahore. Additionally, she co-curated and participated in Introspective Patterns of Interpersonal Relations at Alhamra Art’s Council, Lahore in 2023. From 2020 to 2023, she taught at Kinnaird College for Women, Lahore and is currently working as a Graphic Designer at Ogilvy, Lahore alongside maintaining her studio practice.
