Ishmal Rizwan (born 1997) is a visual artist currently based in Lahore, Pakistan. She completed her BFA from the National College of Arts, Lahore in 2020 where she recieved an Honors for her efforts. She has a Fine Arts and English Literature diploma from Oxford University, Oxford and was previously warking at the Oxford Summer Programme. She is currently enrolled with the CPCAB-UK and in her third year of Counselling and psychotherapy studies.

Her works have been a part of various group shows locally and internationally, namely; Beyond the Self at Studio Seven, Karachi in 2020; Broadcast Vol 2 at O Art Space, Lahore in 2020; Crust at MomArt Gallery, Karachi in 2021; Khat o Kitabat at O Art Space, Lahore in collab with Koel Gallery, Karachi in 2021; Creative Pakistan Exhibition at Toledo in 2022; Conversation at O Art Space, Lahore in 2022 Eve’s Eye/I II at Sanat Initiative, Karachi in 2022; and Abida Dahri & Ishmal Rizwan at Sanat Initiative, Karachi in 2023. Ishmal’s works have also been featured in various publications such as Libas Now under ‘Top Art Picks of 2022’, the Medium, the News on Sunday, the Dawn, the Pandemonium Journal and Folklore Magazine.

Her artwork is housed within the permanent collection of the Ambiance Boutique Art Hotels.
