Maha Bint-e-Abid (born 2000) is a visual artist currently based in Lahore, Pakistan. She completed her BFA from the Kinnaird College for Women, Lahore in 2023 specialising in Mughal & Persian Miniature Painting.
In her art practice, Maha works with gouache, watercolours, and invisible ink. Her artworks have been exhibited extensively locally and internationally at various art organisations such as the Embassy of Denmark, Islamabad; Artsoch Gallery, Lahore; Broadcast Vol II at O Art Space, Lahore; Bulhan Bachao at AAN Art Space & Museum, Karachi; Stars of Tomorrow 2024 at Pakistan Art Forum Gallery, Lahore in 2024; Emerging Artists talent Show at VM Art Gallery in 2024; 18th and 19th Young Artis’s Exhibition at Alhamra Arts Council, Lahore; 9th National Data Privacy Conference 2022 at Digital Rights Foundation; Haam Gallery in 2023; Tagheer in 2024; Space Studios, London in 2024. She was shortlisted for the 2nd and 3rd Anna Molka Awards at the Anna Molka Gallery, College of Art and Design, University of the Punjab, Lahore. Maha has also interned at the Aga Khan Cultural Services on their Lahore Fort conservation and restoration project of the Picture Wall in 2022.
