Mala Waseem, (born 1977) is a multidisciplinary artist and art educator, currently based in Doha, Qatar. She has completed her MA (Hons) in Visual Arts from the National College of Arts, Lahore in 2002.  

Mala has exhibited her artworks both locally and internationally at numerous art venues in Turkey, Italy, Canada, USA, Pakistan, and Qatar. Through her art practice, she aims to share knowledge and create meaningful dialogues between traditional and modern; consciousness and emotional states. Mala’s paintings suggest a wide range of interpretations to its viewers from philosophical to conceptual, and from literal to abstract.
