Maryam Umar (born 1986) is a visual artist currently based in Lahore, Pakistan. She completed her BFA from the National College of Arts, Lahore in 2021. Maryam’s foray into art academia began in 2007 but due to a personal injury, she was unable to complete her thesis year.

She has spent a lot of time in recent years working with various educational institutions as a lecturer and creative head. Maryam’s focus has always been to enhance her creative skills through passionate, challenging, career-oriented and motivational tasks by working in a dynamic environment in pursuit of different artistic activities.
