Mina Yawar (born 2000) is a visual artist currently based in Lahore, Pakistan. She completed her BFA from the Kinnaird College for Women, Lahore in 2023 specialising in Miniature Painting.
Mina is skilled in gouache, acrylics and watercolours and finds inspiration in traditional Mughal and Persian miniature paintings. Her art practice focuses on illustrating superstitions within domestic spaces, exploring the cultural significance and heritage of these beliefs. Mina’s artwork has been exhibited extensively locally at various art organisations such as Nooks and Corners at Kinnaird College for Women, Lahore in 2022; the 19th Annual Young Artists Exhibition at Alhamra Art Council, Lahore in 2023; the 19th Emerging Talent exhibition at VM Art Gallery, Karachi in 2024; Small Works at Kaleido Kontemporary, Lahore in 2024; The Summer Show at Artsoch Contemporary, Lahore; and Observe and Absorb an online exhibition at E-Exhibitions.
