Muhammad Abu Hanzla (born 1996) is a visual artist currently based in Lahore, Pakistan. He completed his BFA from the Institute of Art and Design, Government College University Faisalabad, Faisalabad in 2019. Hanzla then went on to complete an MA in Visual Arts from the National College of Arts, Lahore in 2024.
His work has been exhibited extensively locally at various art institutions such as the Alhamra Art Center, Lahore; Punjab National Council of Art, Islamabad; Ejaz Art Gallery, Lahore; Tagheer Gallery, Lahore; Kaleido Kontemporary, Lahore; and NumaishGah, Lahore. Hanzla was selected as a Visiting Scholar for a three-month residency at The Prince’s Foundation School of Traditional Arts, London in 2024.
Hanzla’s artwork is housed in the permanent collection of the Ambiance Boutique Art Hotels. Read less
