Naveed Majid (born 1994) is a visual artist and currently based in Lahore, Pakistan. He completed his BFA from the National College of Arts, Lahore in 2020 specialising in Printmaking.

Naveed’s practice revolves around the invasiveness of industrialisation and its repercussions. This interest stems from his childhood spent in factory settings and is the reason for his focus on the usage of objects, their perception and the power dynamics between them. In his artworks, he overcomes ideas of masculinity and friction in those mechanical objects through vibrant colours and by changing their hard metallic exterior into softer, friendlier, more approachable versions rendering them a dual identity in the process inviting fresh ways of being.

Naveed’s artwork is housed within the permanent collection of the Ambiance Boutique Art Hotels.
