Rajeshwari Lohana (born 2001) is a visual artist currently based in Karachi, Pakistan. She completed her BFA from the Shaheed Allah Buksh Soomro University of Art, Design and Heritages, Jamshoro in 2003.
According to Rajeshwari as an abstract artist, she finds joy in the simple act of creation, avoiding strict themes and finds inspiration in the beauty of nature. Her focus lies in acrylic washes, inspired by the layers that compose the world we live in, Rajeshwari in her art practice creates abstract art centered around the theme of these layers. She blends various colours, hues and textures to make a space where emotions flow without restraint. The stratified use of colours and layers serves as a powerful medium, according to the artist it’s like telling stories with paint, breaking boundaries, and letting viewers explore endless possibilities.
