Saad Ahmed (born 1989) is a visual artist and educator currently based in Lahore, Pakistan. He completed his BFA from the National College of Arts, Lahore in 2012 specialising in Printmaking where he received a distinction for his efforts. Following this, Saad completed his MA in Art Education from Beaconhouse National University, Lahore in 2022.

As a visual Practitioner, he has worked with multiple mediums, but printmaking remains his main forte. Saad’s work has been exhibited locally and internationally in numerous art institutions in a variety of formats and print biennales. His work was selected for Trajectories, 19th – 21st Century Printmaking from India and Pakistan at Sharjah Museum, Sharjah which was curated by Paula Sengupta and Camilla H. Chaudhary in 2014 where his pieces were listed amongst ‘Pioneering Print’ of the show; Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair, London; Guanlan Print Biennale, Shenzhen; and Megalo Print Studio, Kingston. Saad was also selected as ‘Artist in Residence’ for a programme organised by Guanlan Original Print Base, Shenzhen.  In 2017 Saad established his own printmaking studio, Inkster Print Studio, which is currently the only Open Access communal printmaking Studio in Lahore. He has been teaching in various art institutes as Adjunct Faculty such as the National College of Arts, Lahore; Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture, Karachi; Kinnaird College for Women University, Lahore; and  Pakistan Institute of Fashion Design, Lahore.
