Sajid Ali Talpur (born 1991) is a visual artist currently based in Lahore, Pakistan. He completed his BFA from the National College of Arts, Lahore in 2013 specialising in Miniature Painting. Currently, he is pursuing an MA in Visual Arts from the Beaconhouse National University, Lahore.

Sajid’s art practice is based on the visual representation of an image and he finds inspiration in drawing exercises such as pure contour, and for the subject matter he chooses to focus on mundane, day to day commonplace objects. He has exhibited his artwork extensively both locally and internationally such as Built Inn at Alhamra Arts Council, Lahore in 2015; National Gallery of Pakistan, Islamabad in 2015; Creative Scriptsat Ejaz Art Gallery, Lahore in 2014; Embassy of Pakistan, Jakarta in 2014; Nairang Art Gallery, Lahore; VM Art Gallery, Karachi; and the Annual Thesis Display 2013, Zahoor Ul Akhlaq Gallery, Lahore. Sajid also participated in Young Artist Exhibition for the years 2011 and 2012 at the Alhamra Arts Council, Lahore. Alongside these, he has also assisted senior art practitioners as a studio assistant.

Sajid’s artwork is housed within the permanent collection of the Ambiance Boutique Art Hotels.
