Talha Shams (born 1991) is a visual artist currently based in Lahore, Pakistan. He completed his BFA from the National College of Arts, Lahore in 2022 where he specialised in printmaking and received an Honours for his efforts. Talha is currently pursuing an MFA in Painting from the Rhode Island School of Design, Providence.
His multi-disciplinary art practice revolves around printmaking and painting. Talha’s work has been exhibited extensively locally and Internationally at various art institutions such as the University College London Art Museum, London; Sharjah Book Fair, Sharjah; Zahoor Ul Akhlaq Gallery, Lahore; OArt Space, Lahore; VM Art Gallery, Karachi; and his work was featured in an exhibition curated by the Roadside. Also, he has been a part of print-collaborative projects with the Cowasjee Print Studio, National College of Art, Lahore; Slaughterhaus Print Studio, London; Morley College, London; and the SLADE School of Art, University College London, London.
Hanzla’s artwork is housed in the permanent collection of the Ambiance Boutique Art Hotels. Read less
