Zoha Masood (born 2000) is a multidisciplinary artist currently based in New York, United States of America. She completed her BFA from the Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture, Karachi in 2023 and received a distinction for her efforts. She is currently pursuing an MA in Historic Architecture Preservation at Pratt Institute, New York.
Zoha’s practice and focus delves into the connection she shares with objects deemed as family heirlooms and of her family's relationship with possessions, ranging from hoarded relics to items of sentimental and financial value. She continues to research and explore the socio-anthropological dimensions of humans and their relationship with objects, which she actively incorporates into her academic and artistic pursuits. She has exhibited her artworks extensively locally at various institutions such as the 19th Emerging Talent Exhibition at VM Gallery, Karachi; and Uncommon Dialogues: An Ode to the Ordinary curated by Nurayah Shaikh Nabi at Koel Gallery, Karachi. Zoha was also a contributing artist to Mohsin Shafi’s Museum of Repairing Reminiscences supported by Vasl Artist's Association, Karachi. She previously worked at The Citizens Archive of Pakistan, the first digital archive of Pakistan which houses more than 5000 oral histories and over 600,000 photographs and works towards preserving the cultural heritage of Pakistan.
